Welcome and thank you for taking the time to read about my practice.
My therapy orientation is integrative and holistic. I take time to understand the emotional, social, and cultural aspects of each of my clients. Through this framework, I formulate therapy based upon individual needs.
Taking a nonjudgmental approach, I support individuals as they build understanding of their own story and inner critic. I help clients move towards self-acceptance and to transform negative ways of thinking. Through our collaborative work, clients gain positive coping skills, improve their relationships, and adopt behaviors that lead to a balanced life.
Many individuals I see have also experienced trauma. I help clients build awareness of how trauma impacts the brain, body, and emotions. Through our work together, clients find stability through learning to regulate overwhelming physical and emotional reactions. Furthermore, clients build a solid foundation to embrace empowerment, find meaning in their experience, and move towards resilience.
Complementing my work as a therapist, I also provide yoga classes in St. Louis. My personal practice of yoga has led to self-awareness, contentment, and physical health. I truly enjoy sharing the practice of yoga and meditation with others. Please review my "Yoga Page" for information about upcoming events and classes.
