Individual Therapy is a collaborative process between a trained therapist and client. The aim of individual therapy is to facilitate change and therefore improve the quality of the life for the client. In individual therapy, clients can expect to explore and overcome barriers that interfere with emotional & mental well-being. Therapy helps build awareness, elevates mood, and facilitates in personal growth.
Couples Therapy Session
Couples Therapy is a collaborative process allowing for partners to strengthen their bonds and gain a better understanding of each other. Couples therapy helps facilitate healthy communication, emotional awareness of self and partner, and work towards conflict resolution. Issues such as sexual difficulties, blended-family conflict, communication problems, substance abuse, infidelity, anger, and separation/divorce are common reasons for pursuing couples therapy.
Distance Therapy Sessions
Distance Therapy sessions are provided to clients who are having difficulty fitting sessions into their schedule, are experiencing crisis, or are traveling and desire to continue sessions. Distance therapy can be provided via Phone or Internet.
Stress Reduction Workshops
These workshops are open to the public, but require pre-registration by email or phone. Topics will vary. Please see Group Counseling and Workshops page for updates on dates, time, and workshop topics.
